Mark Kern got a harassment campaign going to get a Helldivers community manager fired and the studio responded by ignoring him completely, maybe America's top newspapers and elite schools could learn something from a little Swedish studio that made a game about shooting space bugs
Odds of it being the Firefall bus all over again are very high with anything that fucking dweeb touches.
i had forgotten about that little shitstain
Gamers can be pretty fickle. Years ago they criticized (and rightfully) how no man's sky was sketchy but once starfield came out suddenly no man's is the best game ever
At first I was like that names familiar...OHHHHH. Yeah, love it way to go Arrowhead
2nd result for the Kern guy I got after him being a former Blizzard CEO (ew) was a tweet complaining about some warhammer minis being women now Talk about shitting the bed after missing the bowl
I don't think Mark actually cares, he's just jangling keys while he tries to sell his dumb piglet followers skins for characters in the game he hasn't launched yet and which may not actually exist
Ignoring Mark Kern is always the correct answer.
Even more of a reason to support this studio. I’m terrible at FPS games, but I love watching streamers play Helldivers. I’m going to buy the game just to support them taking the right stance on Kern.
The fact that I play Helldivers and have no idea who Mark Kern is, and that this is the first I'm hearing of his harassment campaign, is a testament to how well Arrowhead handled it. I've been so impressed with their...everything.
