Up to a point though. Every phone photo looks flat and derivative and overprocessed. If you care about photography - lots of people don't - buy a camera!
I understand that the iPhone is the world's single most popular camera but I don't really get the focus on the minutiae of tiny updates to the camera. If you want really nice pictures, use a proper camera. Phone photos will always look like phone photos, it's just physics.
Killing the verification system has really diminished its usefulness on this point though. Certainly there have been breaking news situations where I’m not sure what I’m seeing on Twitter is real so I don’t use it.
