what's worse is a lot of people use it as a 'gotcha' to be racist towards japanese/Asian artists as a whole. "Well they're perverts anyways they made hentai' or 'well the age of consent in japan is 13' (I see this often and have to laugh. Saying 'this isn't real' isn't the same as endorsing it

I really wish we didn't live in a world where a cartoon has more rights than an actual child. Children/teenage trafficking is VERY real, children/teens get sexually harassed every single day but these people saying an anime character is underage won't defend or help the real kids.
