In fairness the umbrella already has some small holes, def need to replace it !
Just soooo cute ! And the moment my friend went to get a photo of me with the kitty he decides to jump off and try to jump into a pram that just came past aha
Brolly Kitty 🥰 Super friendly kitty outside the Horniman Museum this arvo. I put my brolly down as it walked over so I could pet him, only for him to walk past to play on my umbrella 😍😭
Notary done (one step closer to updating my passport!) Now to find food and then off to an afternoon at the Horniman Museum :)
Then spent this evening playing a one shot D&D campaign for the first time (well shared a pre made by the DM character with my friend cos I was very confused) But it was such a laugh & makes me even more of an advocate to get these games set up in libraries for all people to play
Spent the day at Roehampton & Southfields Libs watching Tim Weston's Shakespeare workshops w/schools. Great seeing kids come alive w/joy of acting! Some after seemed so excited to learn more plays! (Really something every KS2 class should get a go at!) Thanks Wandsworth Libraries for these events!
In collab Wandsworth WelcomesRefugees, Balham Library was proud to host a butterfly making workshops, so to see the finished work was so special. Also wonderful to see the Mayor of Wandsworth Cllr Sana Jafri, who is a huge support of community engagement, arts and of course, libraries!
Had the absolute pleasure last night to arrend the #VoicesofWandsworth#LDF24 Roopa's installation brought together 100s from across the Wandsworth borough to create intricate origami butterflies and explore the prompt "if a butterfly could hear you, what would you say?"
What is a bedtime against finishing a book? The Trouble With Mrs Montgomery Hurst by Katie Lumsden was delightful! The human experience is complex, beautiful & at times so silly! Katie captures it all so well! Can't wait to discuss at Balham Library on Oct 2nd www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/author-tal...
Come join us for a cozy chat with author Katie Lumsden as delves into her latest novel The Trouble with Mrs Montgomery Hurst
