My 9-year old has decided he likes one (and only ONE) "older kid/adult band," and it's Imagine Dragons. My younger daughter (who emulates everything) is also on board. I don't mind them as much as some people, but man, the 2nd straight hour of "Believer" or "Thunder" in long car rides is...draining.
If you're going to just get a MBA or a teaching degree or something like that, just go to a college that seems like a fun atmosphere and can give you a scholarship. You'll pretty much end up in the same spot as if you want to a more "prestigious" college.
Honestly, I think if there's one thing my generation learned, is if you don't want to be highly specialized (e.g. doctor, lawyer, engineer, or creative arts). It doesn't really matter where you go to college. Pick a more prestigious one for a generalized BA/BS and you're way in debt for no reason.
The shark does have drip though!
I was browsing at a comic shop I haven't visited in a while & I came across @darkhorsecomics.bsky.social 's The Masked Macher #1. I'm kicking myself of not coming up with this idea myself, the concept is so good. It's humorous & engaging with intriguing characters & neat twists. Can't wait for #2.
Adding some more comic accounts to follow, which reminded me that a comic former collaborator who I thought I had an okay (if not perfect) relationship with unfriended me on Facebook semi-recently. I'm kinda saddened by that since I don't know what I did to cause it.
I just remembered Space Marine 2 came out 3 days ago and I had it preordered, so I ran out and grabbed it on my lunch break. Excited to battle for the Emperor tomorrow morning! However, I had also resolved to finally get back to Armored Core 6, but that's not happening with my limited free time.
