I am not using this as a gripe page, a rage page, or a sales page. I talk about history, language and nerd stuff. Twitter became a place of political / nerd rage and non stop signal boosting. It stopped being fun way before it stopped being safe. I'm happy to boost friends or projects I like.
I'm thinking the unfollows came from people who don't like my take on Decepticons and Saturday night fever. Or... Maybe, it was saying I'm DEMI, a parent, struggling, as are many, MANY others, and not able to support folx financially. People bouncing from THAT really feels a lot like Twitter.
Holy shit, THIS. I just want to find my people, have some laughs and experience a sense of truly mutual support. Many are struggling. Having a place to be ok or have it be ok when you are not is a help.
