I've never used ChatGPT. I've never allowed it to be used in my classrooms and never will. I think OpenAI is an infected tonsil stone embedded in a festering anus, and Sam Altman is an abusive PT Barnum with zero redeeming qualities. Shame on every so called author who uses it. Just stop writing.

I had someone recently suggest I use it to write my current book. I had to pick my jaw up off the floor. I am creating an entirely NEW paradigm for how we should view the evolution of human culture, rooted in 25 years of work around the world. Fuck generative AI and the slop mongers who use it.
They did stop writing! That’s why they’re getting a computer algorithm to write for them.
I hate AI because it erodes teacher confidence in neurodivergent student writing. Our writing style is more likely to catch false accusations of AI use, so we get more scrutiny and punishment for our efforts. Same applies to students speaking English as a second language.
gonna need to move to in-person, pencil and paper writing only for undergrads at this point
