Forget 1997, I've seen spreadsheets and databases from the year 1992 still in use.

And we all shit on Microsoft but damn if that 3 decade old xls file doesn't pop right up like the day it was written

Yeah, I've been moving some of my big company's reporting into Power BI.... which is all still fed by Excel files. lol

Scrap Excel, replace with OpenOffice.
