The best thing about this, is the implication that Ditko only owns paper for drawing and none with lines on it.

That's not the kind of paper he'd draw comics on. It's just ordinary paper -- what I think of as "printer paper," but I'm sure there's a more specific term. For professional comics work, the Ditko originals I've seen are all on Bristol board.
