i genuinely find it baffling that explicitly saying "people suffering more should be a lower priority" because something something exclusion. it makes my head hurt.

dont think this is a self conscious conspiracy but it does feel like anything that centres medical treatment would be too much of a material demand, so mere words (pronouns) are always pushed as the true cause we should rally behind (binary genders are more privileged, too much pushing of hrt etc.)
