This is why I can’t see AI taking over anything critical. Can see it being a companion tool, but it’s not going to take *anyones* job because left on its own - it’s just spews bullshit.
Whereas I’m completely the opposite. Food waste is a far bigger issue than plastic waste, and we should try and increase shelf life to reduce waste where we can. Controversial opinion of mine is that plastic isn’t a big deal - it’s how society is bad at actually putting it in the right bin.
Only way I can see that is with cheap cellular agriculture out competing meat for burgers, sausages etc. Leaving fewer, but higher quality farm animals for the really good stuff you have at special occasions.
Agree too. If the conflict gets frozen largely along the lines it is now, I can see NATO protecting up that point. But until then, no chance. That’s unless the Russians collapse, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon as they’re happy enough to waste men by the 000’s to grind metres forward.
Isn’t emissions per person per km on long haul low? It’s just that they’re going a long way? Or have I just made that up?
They will literally say anything to be leader.
Around the merry go round again we go, year after year and assuming it’s going to be different this time.
What’s the reason for why it’s not happening? Surely there are smart people in the HMT/ government making this type of case? Are they scared of the political backlash because they can’t articulate it?
Can recommend heat geek.
