And worse for the writers of #RingsOfPower#Elrond#Galadriels freaking son in law! So it's already an odd plot contrivance on top of everything else. I genuinely loathe this show. They had a billion dollars and spent none of it on writers.
Elrond kissing a dear friend he knows is married when all Elves only marry once, save the famous Ingwe Galadriels own grandfather, is a sacrilege and a stain on his friends honor. It disrespects her and her vow and her husband's death isn't an excuse for the writers. Elves dont actually die.
And so #Galadriel as an Elf who has sworn an oath to the valar to honor her vow of mairrage to Celeborn its an eternal pledge. Death doesn't seperate Elves. They go to the Halls of Mandos together and wait for thier loved ones.
