7. Terra Nil tried it out the moment I saw it had a demo and I continue to love this game so so much. what's not to love, no fear of failure or competition, you only help earth get back its animals and greenery and waters 🌍
6. Dragon Age being introduced to bioware's games, naturally I'd eventually find myself in the DA universe as well. little did I know how many hundreds of hours would I end up spending in there over the course of years. Zevran, Merrill and Fenris are my beloveds but DA:I is The Dearest to me.
5. Hades first roguelite I'd ever played. the best roguelite I'll ever play. it also partially ticks that AoM part of "(not as baby anymore but very queer) autist brain is giddy about mythology (handsome greek gods)".
4. Talos Principle people who know me, know I love puzzle games. this game Messed Me Up. not by the sheer amount of PUZZLE (sure, that made my brain hurt) but everything about the story. it's the only puzzle game whose ending has ever made me cry.
3. Mass Effect 1-3 the OG shepard trilogy. Mass Effect birthed my oldest still ongoing OC and a plethora of all his alt universes. my all time favourite storylines and characters are from this series, and it's one of these games where I'm scared to replay them because the story Hurts.
2. Destiny 1/2 there are very few games that have fundamentally changed my adolescence quite like Destiny has, and still more or less continues to do so. no matter how little I play it as of right now, it still holds its place as my favourite. and I don't say that lightly.
1. The entirety of Age of -series, notably AoE1 and AoM! that's my childhood right there, especially AoM. I knew (and kind of still know) nothing about RTS games but being able to create a huge army and specially use mythical creatures of various cultures just tickled that baby autist brain.
