And this latest strain I brutal, y'all. Trust me, I masked, boosted, sanitized, and refused to shake hands at ALA Annual, still got it, and was sick for 20 DAYS. You don't want this.
i was knocked out for weeks it was HORRIBLE
I still feel rundown and it’s been like 7 days.
Just wanted to add on, I had it about a month and a half ago and surprisingly to me it didn't hit me that hard. All this is to say, for people that it doesn't hit hard, also take precautions! Don't take it as a sign to proceed normally and spread it to others
The last time I was sick it was 2 weeks and I'm a sole caregiver to my toddler so... It was fucked.
Best information I can find (after admittedly limited Googling) is that the updated 2024-25 COVID vaccine will be available in September.
We were traveling this week and my kid caught it and gave it to me. I just had covid six weeks ago. It still walked me like a naughty pup. I've been masking trying to keep it from spreading in our household because it's BAD.
I was really cautious and through no fault of my own, I'm going into my fourth week of covid. I'm lucky it hasn't needed hospitalization yet (knock wood) but it has categorically wrecked my summer. Broke, sick, isolated, demoralized, and gaslit by healthcare. Nobody wants this.
I’m on day 14 and have stopped shifting meetings to ‘next week’ because this thing is not budging at all
SAME. Was a solid week of laying around sweating. Still don't feel totally normal. Had to take my wife to the ER twice. We are boosted up, but this strain is no joke.
I’m at an elementary school, so I’m masked tf up at ALL times. ALL. Even if I’m in a room alone, if I wasn’t the only one in there for the last 20 minutes, I’m masked. It’s CRAZY easy to catch things.
