I get the pop culture churn rate is higher than ever before, and careers do rise and fall at faster rates, but it's worth remembering that declaring someone fallen off or over or whatever makes for great headlines/thumbnails and people are *strongly incentivized* to make everything feel cataclysmic.

Just a thing I'm thinkin' about, since YouTube has been pushing "IT'S OVER!!!!" videos about Mr. Beast in my Recommendeds for weeks, now. And, like. No? He's... really not?
There's a whole range of social media people / YouTube videos you can just ignore because it's some person proclaiming the "Downfall" of a popular thing you enjoy that will probably outlast their attempt at cultural relevance by a decade or two.
