Just think for a second about how *weird* it is that a news article about a shooting doesn't put "left one person in critical condition" in the lede or even the headline.
It's wild how unconcerned that article is about the non-cops. Several paragraphs about the injured cop and it's not until the sixth that you learn one of the bystanders was shot in the head and is in critical condition.
