At this point even my work colleagues understand that this is my starting point for debate so they know what kind of intellectual beat down they're about to take if they even pretend to be "libertarian" or "free-thinker". So they stopped talking politics on my jobsites completely.

Basically I say "Oh, usually when someone calls themself a 'libertarian' it means they lack the courage of conviction to deny me the right to vote to my face." And then I tell them that opinions are are an earned right. Not a God given privilege.
