i'm not gonna sit here and defend cnn; that's not the point of this post. the point is that everything good dies in the face of greedy corporations who only know profit, debt, and stepping on everyone on the way up. it's like corporate sisyphus. an absolute clusterfuck where the 99% loses.
this shit wouldn't have happened if cnn/timewarner hadn't been bought by at&t and leveraged for at&t's debt, then taken apart and sold, then bought by discovery (who couldn't afford it), who stripped the company further, then blamed the company for doing poorly.
