Harley Quinn, showing that her frying pan game is still strong even years after the PUBG promotion. Suicide Squad Isekai is fun. Also, if you enjoy Karlii Hoch's performance as Harley, she also voices Eiko, one of the leads in the horror anime Dark Gathering.
Witch Hat Atelier vol 1 was a quick read. Even more excited for the series next year. I might hand this off to the kiddo. After Mobile Suit Gundam The Last Outpost I don't think there's much here that would scare or upset.
Watched Ultraman Rising with the family. Once the movie was over I asked our kiddo what the best part was. "Ultradad's Mustache!" The rest of the movie seemed to be a hit too. Might have to track down Dubbed kid friendly Ultraman entries. Netflix's Ultraman series might be a bit much for the kid.
Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World? Introduces us to the newest wielder of a Keyblade, Kai. Not sure how this fantasy/alternate timeline series is going to connect with Kingdom Hearts but we'll just have to wait and see I suppose.
Some traveling today so anime watching/posting is delayed. In the meantime, a Delicious in Dungeon inspired meal. I'm not big on shellfish so the Living Armor Stir Fry presented a challenge. The solve was pressed, extra firm tofu marinated in oyster sauce. Kiddo didn't like Bok Choy, so Broccoli.
As I test the waters here vs the old hell site. Probably a good idea to ease into the sort of nonsense I typically post. Like me watching Delicious in Dungeon & thinking, "Yeah, I should try and cook that!" This time, cutlets to defeat the Red Dragon!
Thinking about the magic school based anime we've gotten the past few years as Wistoria: Wand and Sword starts up. Little Witch Academia remains my favorite but I rewatched some Reign of the Seven Spellblades & it pushes how dangerous magical school might be, an 80% survival rate!?
More serious in tone than Mashle, Wistoria: Wand and Sword asks, what if a kid goes to magic school but he's got no magic just strength? Asta Potter is off to a decent start.
