Alongside Ranma 1/2 & Dan Da Dan, Netflix went & slipped Orb: On the Movements of the Earth in the weekly release schedule too? An abstracted/fictionalized tale of the discovery of Heliocentrism in spite of the Church's brutal efforts to suppress it. Not for the kiddos. youtu.be/YLyzqMU_Zjo?...

No wonder I thought it looked a lot like Mezzo Forte & Wizard Barristers. Virgin Punk also has Yasuomi Umetsu involved. I know we've had anime with this kind of style for awhile, it still makes me think of the early 2000s. Modern HD video has really helped it. youtu.be/lKqDAfNmHx8?...

The cast for the English Dub of Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night looks promising. A really great girl's band series, with though not all the girls are musicians. An artist, a singer, a song writer and a VTuber/Videographer. The subtitled version is already on HiDive news.hidive.com/2024/9/16/hi...
Noor might be in the wrong series? I Parry Everything is fine so far. I suspect our OP MC is going to remain frustratingly oblivious to just how OP he is, as this type of series dictates.
The way that Bye, Bye Earth uses terms from music and theatre when it comes to sword play and battles I find myself thinking that Belle and Adonis have just arrived at the most miserable marching band competition.
As I get back into The Hobbit, while reading it to my kid before bedtime. I'm remembering how Faraway Paladin also did a version of The King Under the Mountain, which I liked. The Isekai angle to the series seems almost unneeded though. It's worth a watch & has a solid Dub.
Really enjoying Aqua x Akane. One of the best 'We're together to keep up appearances' couples who are actually about as ride or die as it gets. The eyes of Oshi no Ko are always great.
