Yeah, like you said nothing comes without work. I'm not gonna pretend like I know how to use unreal either, but no one does when they make their first game. It's baby steps. Remember Rome wasn't built in a day!
It's definitely possible it's just a matter of taking the first steps. It begins with you, and you can do it for free! Unreal Engine is Free, and there's drawing apps for free, I'm sure there's an animation program out there for free too! Learn to float before you swim, and swim before the race.
