VII's my favorite but I'm a weirdo. I'd be 100% fine with just a port at this point of the Zenithian trilogy, but like any sort of remaster or remake past that point would be obviously my preferred result, haha.

Now that I think about it, Toriyama's passing probably means that we'll see Square Enix rationing out Dragon Quest remakes every couple years to keep the lights on while they try to figure out what the hell they're gonna do about DQXII, so never say never!
