“Artists must suffer to create good art” is widely romanticized, citing writers & artists from the 1700s-1930s who made masterpieces in spite of living tortured lives. Can you imagine how much *more* amazing art they could have made if they hadn’t had to create under financial/emotional duress?
I see a lot of a very specific kind of scammer, so instead of just blocking them - ive started putting them into a list: bsky.app/profile/did:... Largely, these seem to be targeting twitch streamers, so i think they fly under the radar of a lot of artists?
