My 79 year old candidate got a D Grade in Latin A Level. It's a HUGE achievement and one which will always stand out for me in my long teaching career. Massive congratulations to her.

Today marks the final lesson of the year with my student. At 79 years old I think she will probably be the oldest person in the UK to take Latin A Level (unless anyone can tell me different). What an inspiration! It has been a huge joy to to teach her and her younger classmate.
