After watching episode 8 of #Zorro (2024) again it's so much better than I remember, Nah-Lin and Diego's rivalry coming to a head in their final stand-off and her battle against Lolita had a very satisfying conclusion, and Lolita and Monasterio's marriage was such a pleasant surprise

Former Russian-inspired fantasy king trying to regain his throne and undo decades of toxicity within his soul, aided by his protege who's basically a male nun who's also dating the king's sister

I love how I ping-pong between "Nah-Lin is one of the most complex, well-written Zorro characters in his 105 year history, and her story is so compelling" and "I want to sit on Nah-Lin's face" every five seconds, which makes it not easy to explain her character to people at all 😭
