Wooderson was the guy that you, in the fullness of time and maturity, recognize to be a loser but when you were 17 you thought was cool as hell.

He is but he's aware of it and exploits it. O'Banion thought he was the shit as a senior and just gets to do it all over again (heavyyyy denial).

But, whoops, Matthew McConaughey is super charismatic and that's what people are picking up on instead of what he's saying or doing.

He’s a massive loser, but you can’t teach charisma. It’s why some massive losers eventually find themselves in leadership positions.
