I usually try to not listen to music, too, despite some ppl loving that; felt like running became a nice, lovely time alone versus "cardio." but to each their own
Most importantly, you want to ramp up training versus just doing these same stuff over and over. Less for getting fast than not getting injured. That's sort of the key to not blowing up your body
Not sure you want this level of intensity. But a friend sent me this and it worked to break 5min in the mile. Even if you don't use it, the workouts in here are helpful to use instead of just run a fast mile. (And running slow days between really is the thing that unlocks so much tbh)
