that’s right. there is a lot of very good evidence that americans are just as productive with a four-day work week and much happier to boot. what’s the point of having such a wealth society if we are not going to try to benefit from it?

even if productivity goes down, it’s worth it many times over for helping the environment and saving people’s health
Been doing this for 8months at our group of companies. The work still gets done and I don’t have to do yard work on the weekends. It rocks!

Well if the comments, here and in the article, are any indication, most of us have been well trained to make our employer's arguments for them.
I just need everyone to realize that taxes are going to skyrocket. Unless we cut the hours the library is open, fire dept, county offices etc, we will have to hire more staff to cover the people who are out. I’m fine with that but it’s already hard enough to get public budgets passed.
But we ARE benefiting! The wealthy are doing wonderfully and that’s all that matters! 🙃 -insert blatant sarcasm here unless it happened to go over anyone’s head-
