we've got somewhere between 20 and 40% of the adult population fine with racist/xenophobic flavored authoritarian tinged culture and politics. I suspect it's always been that way and always will be. the real question is how much of the loud minority will the other 60% be willing to conflict avoid.
We should be honest with ourselves and admit that even if Harris wins this election easily, a country in which Donald Trump can get 40% of the vote might not have much of a future.

Candidly, as a non-swing state voter I'm not voting for either of them. Kamala's "moderate" nature means I cannot morally vote for her. Her pro-genocide stance, her defense of militarized police, and her weak stance on climate are all disqualifying Also her constant side stepping of LGBT issues.
