trump, who has a coin flip chance of becoming president, is proposing a deportation plan that could send the american economy careening into a second great recession. anyway hereās the top story at politico
I am screaming āwho the fvck cares?!?ā into the void.
I have zero idea why this is a story at all
His scheme to 'denaturalize' Americans will have a MASSIVE impact if he even tries it. Short of that, deporting legal immigrants doing their jobs would have a ripple effect in global economy & diplomacy.
It's worth mentioning how this would also spiral the global economy since it is primarily backed by the American Empire's Dollar.
Apparently, the guy who runs Politico is a big fan of Donald Trump.
what is kinda amazing about that story is how anodyne the reporting content is. "kids travelled on trains? they saw the terracotta soldiers and it was cool cause their teacher had a replica? the food was tasty? idk man China-US relations were different 20 years ago" is the sum total of that piece.
The piece is actually quite good for Walz.
Hong Kong dissident Jeffrey Ngo on Tim Walz: "Walz is perhaps the most solid candidate when it comes to human rights and China on a major-party ticket in recent memory ā if not ever. All in all, heās also an effective, articulate, genuine champion of progressive values and policies." Entire thread:
Who, amongst Trumpās inner circle, would not welcome a other Great Recession? Picking up assets at firesale prices! Desperate sellers! Free $$ from the fed. āEntitlementsā cut left right and centre in the interests of saving $$ Tax cuts for stimulus? Win win for those treacherous chuds.
