going to once again suggest that if you are a political junkie you should get off of social media and find the opportunity to talk to a voter from outside of your immediate social circle

Why would I want to talk to Trump supporters about politics are you insane. Talking to a wall would be more effective

My anecdata of talking to folks in daily life (dental hygienists, Office Depot cashiers, deli counter employees, etc.) is that EVERY young woman is voting this year. I don't remember this from previous election cycles...

I tried that. I was depressed for a week...

I spoke to a friend who is voting for Trump and it was just depressing. It was like he lived in this alternate reality and there was no reaching him since frankly, even liberal corporate media says things that avoid contradicting the views of people like him.

I was driving around rural VA yesterday/shenandoah and expected to be all Trump/Vance signs but there was a sh-t ton of Harris-Walz stuff up - it was encouraging.

Just got back from a wedding on MD’s Eastern Shore with a bunch of boomer relatives. Really didn’t make me feel any better.

I work for a company in Texas. I get plenty of that 🙁

I'm disabled (chronic illness) and don't get out much. But I talked to voters while volunteer phone banking for the Harris campaign. From my very limited experience: Harris voters are very enthusiastic! ❤️ Trump voters repeat weird talking points (e.g., "Kamala is not African American") #USPol

I'd support mandatory service for pundits but stuff like working the local deli counter or riding public transportation.
