Same scenario here in New Zealand - Landlords and real estate agencies and the road transport industry gave mega donations to the National Act right wing parties and now receive gold standard service from the Government.
Yes, I'm in New Zealand too, and am appalled by the coalition. Their grift and corruption are so blatant.
