One thing I have noticed about watching space:1999 is that it’s got a reverse curse on it. Almost all the actors are either still alive or lived to a ripe old age.

Chris Mason trying to justify the story a bit more by saying that it’s about the leak and not the pay, but the Sue Gray affair amounts to: Woman fired for daring to earn more than a man, and that feels a bit 1950’s.
