I’ve come to a place where I understand why providing context for claims about e.g. “AI’s water usage” does nothing to resolve the debate. Once people have decided that they disapprove of a practice, any amount of resource consumption is definitionally too much. The numbers are not load-bearing.
“England will be playing 4-4-fucking-2” is still the best line I’ve ever seen delivered in a film.
To those who took the time to respond to my LaTeX query recently, thank you! I've gone with TeXShop (I'm pretty much only ever on Mac these days), and it is just lovely! I know I'm very late to the TeX party, but it seemed unneccessary in my pre "we need to show and explain this function" days.

Had my first conversation yesterday with someone who didn’t want to use a particular word (absolutely the right word!) in an essay because apparently it crops up a lot in AI-generated texts. They were worried about accusations of plagiarism. That kind of second guessing is so bad for writing ☹️
