My movement has been way worse the last few weeks as the old movement meds come out of my system. It’s been pretty tricky with a few falls & a lot of pain. Especially when getting in & out the buggy. It’s useful data tho. It also proves we have the tools needed so I can thrive no matter how wobbly
Excited to be streaming Cities Skylines 2 later. I’ve had a few hours to fiddle with it and I’m finding a nice grove. It’s really different to CS1. Totally different model of city building & planning needed! I’ll be streaming it from 12 today on twitch: twitch.tv/jamieandlion...
Jamie + Lion, bouncing around, playing games & making things. We're autistic and wobbly and cover game accessibility & neurodiversity bits and bobs as we stream. Switch & XAC user.
Hit the midpoint of my big meds rejig today. I’ve slowly come off all the movement and ADHD meds so I can get a baseline on how my body is doing. Had 4 days meds free over the weekend. This week I’m slowly restarting them so I can identify which med is doing what :) Lots of useful data :)
Sometimes it’s the small things that make a big difference. Last week Boop moved the laundry tabs into an easy access box… right above the washing machine where I can reach them without bending etc. That’s worked really well. Hehe :)
Gosh. Four years! Feels like a lifetime ago. Pre-injury + pre-pandemic!
Snoozy start today. I’m swapping between two different spasms & nerve pain treatments and it’s a bit of a weird feeling! Excited to see how it all plays out :)
Finished my third and final session for flight training in the sim today. Hopefully I can make it into the real planes for some lessons in the near future :) Eeee. Exciting times.
It was brilliant, though extremely painful. Lots of engineering needed to get the seating right. We will work it out
I had an amazing week for aviation stuff. A pair of simulator sessions on the ground and then a passenger flight with a friend flying his lesson. Feels epic. Can’t wait for my next lesson on Tuesday!
Second flying session today. Went really well! Rather snoozy now… with a massive smile :)
