Cards Against Humanity is simultaneously trolling, getting out the vote, and educating people about our garbage privacy rules and campaign finance laws. Hilariously. Also, there's a way folks can make Elon pay them $47 in there, too, and CAH promises to sue him again if he doesn't. Respect.
Not exactly random since I went there to see them, but I remember a really awkward Against Me show that was right after their first major label album came out and people in the audience would go practically catatonic whenever the band played one of those songs.
Wild that the most compelling thing happening at both of the big two superhero publishers currently is, “What if the heroes existed in a world created in the image of a supervillain?” I can’t imagine what inspired those vibes! *Nervously glanced around at literally everything *
My one fear about ABSOLUTE BATMAN (mild, vague spoilers to follow) is that I really want that act of violence in the origin to remain random but I fear that Snyder won’t be able to contain his love of a conspiracy mystery to let it stand as such.
This might be the best week of superhero comics we’ve had in a while. These two make for quite the one-two punch.
I am currently up at 1 am because ours appears to be going through a 10-year regression.
Maybe it's nothing - my marketing experience is nil - but it seems to me like a weird, unnecessary muddling of what those words have come to mean to DC's publishing line.
Generally speaking, I am pretty excited about what DC has cooking because the creative teams seem really good. However, I'm pretty puzzled by their use of "Elseworlds" and "Absolute" on these things, as they have been two terms with pretty clear brand values previously.
