Went to a council scrutiny community event today, it was quite full on. I think what it made me realise most is that teachers honestly are the best. I am deducting this from contrast. We are amazing at meticulously planning, directing groups of people and most of all: communicating.

The awkward unfocused communication was not just from council members and staffers but also grassroots groups. People get so absorbed in their bubbles they can't codeswitch anymore. Talking to them becomes draining not engaging. I see this dissonance with the government right now - it's a problem
