People are diverse and there's so much overlap on literally every human feature. Not just between cis and trans folks, but for literally anyone you can imagine! Mirroring that diversity in art gives characters more depth, and it's OK if parts of who they arent made artificially+immediately obvious.

(And because I will otherwise die of embarrassment, yes I do know the difference between "your" and "you're" and I hate that this was posted with the wrong one. I blame my phone. 😝)
So I guess I wanted to say thank you for helping me convince myself that there's nothing wrong with needing to go through a creative process in order to find the result you want. I think you're art is amazing, and it was neat to both see how it's made and grow my own understanding in the process. :)
Let me try again: when I draw, it takes me a while to find the shapes I want, and I use my eraser nearly as often as my pencil. Seeing someone whose art I really admire also go through the same intermediate steps along the way to making something beautiful helps me feel better about doing it.

ようやくやった！ 今日は、始めてから丸で半年前、徳間アニメ絵本の「隣のトトロ」を読んでしまいました。 始まる時、言葉が大体もう知っていたのに、読書力が弱かったのでとてもとても遅く読んでいました。よくほったらかしたり、難しさにしょんぼり、時々思いように進みました。 所が、今、字や言葉をスキャンするのが出来るし、カナだけで書いた言葉でもよく認識するし、最後の章を速くて飛び読めました。 その間に青空での日本語で書いてある投稿をよく読んで、逆転裁判の最初の章をやって、いい練習がよくありました。この本の初めと終わりの大きい区別はそれらの結果でしょうね。 #日本語勉強記録

I'm sitting here wondering why a person I follow whose reposts are consistently thoughtful and interesting chose to share this, and then just when I was about to nope out, things got interesting. 😂 A hair dryer?? Damn, girl. Now I gotta go see what I can pull off.
