I gotta say this year feels very lacking in terms of games than last year, last year had so many amazing games this year as very few good games
The Boys (season 4): 8/10 This is definitely my second favourite season and was a big step up from season 3, my issue with season 3 was that the first half felt stronger than the second half but season 4 had me hooked the whole time and was a lot better than Invincible Season 2
Star Wars OutLaws: 4/10 Considering how well the other Star Wars games were I was actually kinda excited for this one and Han Solo is my favourite Star Wars character so the fact that we got to play as a smuggler also got me hyped Too bad Ubisoft made this game, I got 16 hours in and dropped it
Neon Genesis Evangelion: 6/10 Neon Genesis Evangelion (The End of Evangelion): 6/10 This whole franchise felt like it had no idea what it wanted to be and way too many ideas and not enough time to flesh them out, the first 6 episodes felt like a completely different show compared to the rest of it
Paper Mario StickerStar: 4/10 After seeing KingKās video I decided to give it a try since Iāve only played it once & I understand the perspective of this being more of a puzzle adventure game, but I found this to be aggressively mediocre & by the time it got interesting and fun it was over
Lollipop Chainsaw: 6/10 Had to play this before the dumpster fire of a remake gets dropped onto the world, enjoyed it overall though it did get repetitive towards the end
Ape Escape 2: 8/10 A improvement over the first one in every way and hella fun to play, this felt very Shonen anime inspired and given the fact that Ash and Mistyās (RIP Rachael Lillisš) voice actors are in this added to the charm of it, the gameplay was a much needed upgrade and is so damn fun
Ape Escape: 5/10 This felt dated and slow, it was fun overall but it took awhile to get to that fun
Gex Enter The Gecko: 4/10 This is so dated that I thought it was hilarious, it was not fun at all to control but I was having way too much fun
