We see this as yet another indication that we need to shift our attention toward measurement validity before we can talk about generating new theories with TM.
This study applies two different methods for TM and uses four validation strategies to assess how the choice of validation method affects model selection & evaluation. Our findings indicate that different methods lead to different model choices and evaluations, which is problematic! 😬📊

I was also taken aback by how many students thanked me for taking their questions seriously and respecting them during the courses. Respect should be a fundamental part of teaching for all! If we as teachers do not take questions and fears seriously we cannot expect students to learn efficently.
