I am just going to say that peoples’ experiences of March-Dec 2020 varied. I worked in person, got pay cuts and lost family members while kids were not in school. People who got bonus unemployment + stimulus + worked from home and lost no one? Different story.

I worked remotely but lost 80% of my pay, made up partially by the stimulus, but only to about just over half-pay. That is, until August, when I lost the rest of the 20% and my insurance until December when I started working again
