There is nothing I would rather read less than this. It seems tailor-made to be the unfunniest slop ever committed to writing.

It's short, silly and puerile and its references are profoundly dated. All of which combine to make it the perfect parody of LOTR - a book which I love; and which it's clear Beard and Kenney also love. But humour is as personal as love, so no worries.
