I moved (many years ago) from London to a small village in a very rural part of France. No pubs, clubs, cimemas, theatres, galleries, but a social interaction that was far richer than anything I had experienced in London.

I moved from London to Newlyn in Cornwall and that didn't quite live up to the ideal of rural (lots of drugs, fishermen, nimbies, self styled artist and one infamous family to rule it all). I am treading cautiosly here!
