I'm starting to get a bit irritated by the number of new followers I have who have 0 posts and a minimalistic, generic bio often featuring the miltary or God. Even if they have a picture, it could be anyone's. Can't decide whether to block or just mute them. Anyone else experiencing sth similar?

I was followed by "Elon Musk" the other day. It appears we're getting some bots, not unlike what I experienced on Twitter. I block them but they remain in my following count. I've also reported the issue to BlueSky.

not so much military or God but, yes, often people with no bio and no posts. I don't block but I don't follow back (in which case you won't see their posts, if there are any, anyway).
