Great answer, Gavin! I still pish on occasion, but rarely have cause in Shropshire. I’m convinced it works on naive YBWs, but I also think having a Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer with me works on rarities.

I’m not sure I’ve ever really attracted anything by pishing or squeaking. Flushed plenty from cover which at least makes them visible for a nanosecond before they dive back in! I too believe in the power of the Tunnock’s! 👊🏼
