Two of NYC's last four mayors have been hardcore "law and order" types. Both turned out to be criminals. Take from that what you will. I'm aware Bloomberg and to a lesser extent de Blasio were awful when it came to law enforcement policy, but the other two made it a core part of their campaigns

The mass killing of a civilian population is apparently less abstract to some than others. Yes I know... muted (antisemitism) Because God forbid you have to confront your own indifference to human suffering.
Occupation and apartheid are valid reasons for violent resistance. I don't think it's the answer in this situation, but it is perfectly legal under international law for an occupied people to strike at their oppressors. The obvious solution is for Israel to end its brutal and illegal occupation.
The Trump attempted shooter being assigned to Judge Cannon is hilarious. Imagine being the prosecutor in what should be a fairly easy case and having the very real possibility of unethical ties between the judge and the victim being exposed at any moment.
Good example of the mainstream political and media machine showing their institutional bias against Palestinians by smearing a Palestinian American for pointing out institutional bias against Palestinians.
