The problem with this statement is that 95% of support comes from fans & almost no companies "do" Linux, it's all just incidental and privilege that some fans care enough to hack support for some shit. Few of these are deserved options. It's 95% happenstance privilege for the 1 dude who drivered it.

I've been super lucky that nearly every computer I've touched has ran a better than average Linux. My current daily driver's speakers don't work but like I know an idiot competent hacker would reverse engineer it in windows in 30 minutes but there's just no such hero about.

I don't remember who was the dude, but he was a magician that allowed me to use soundboard in my ultrabook. If I figure out again, I will pay a coffee to him
