The world’s richest 1% have more wealth than the bottom 95% put together, according to @Oxfam. There is no moral justification for this extraordinary level of inequality. It's distorting politics, rigging our markets, and granting unprecedented power to a handful of people.

Hey guys 🥺👉👈 it’s 3 months before my birthday please if you could to like and repost some recent art I painted

Princess Calla in a silk gold and red floral dress holding an unsheathed sword and marching up the stairs to an ornate gold throne in an ornate red and gold palace adorned with several golden dragon statues. Futuristic teal hued fluorescent lighting is hanging overhead
Close up stylized painting of jafar from Aladdin holding his trademark gold carved cobra staff with red jewels for eyes. He is in front of a purple textured backdrop, surrounded by plumes of red smoke. His eyebrows are arched and he is, sadly, serving c word
Painting of frankenfurter from rocky horror picture show in his fishnets and sequin corset/gloves in an audacious contraposto pose, snarl singing at the camera in front of red velvet theater curtains. His glittery cape is posed as tho it is actively erupting off his body
Two young men embracing in a sensual pose, one with his hands gripped around the others throat in a somewhat domineering fashion. The young man holding the others throat has pale luminescent skin, fangs and glowing red eyes and lips, suggesting a vampire. They are posed in front of an old wooden window showing an imposing full moon outside

What I always hear: “We can’t afford to pay our workers $15 an hour.” What I never hear: “We can’t afford to pay our CEO millions of dollars a year.” Funny how that works, huh?

Stock buybacks don't just line the pockets of CEOs and shareholders — they're dangerous. Boeing failed to implement a $7B redesign of its 737 Max while spending that much per year on buybacks. A dollar spent on buybacks is a dollar less spent to upgrade equipment and safety.

Reminder that Amazon and Space X are fighting in court to have the NLRB declared unconstitutional. This means the two richest men on earth want to dismantle the government agency that holds them accountable for union busting. Nothing terrifies them more than worker power.

Poverty is a policy choice. Mass incarceration is a policy choice. Inequality is a policy choice. Insulin rationing is a policy choice. Climate disintegration is a policy choice. Billionaire tax loopholes are a policy choice. Make no mistake: We have the power to change things.

Airlines have merged from 12 major carriers in 1980 to 4 today. A handful of companies control the pharmaceutical industry. Four giants control 80% of meat processing. The evidence of corporate concentration is everywhere. And fewer competitors means higher prices for you.
