SO every artist is different, right? So no solid answer. I can say that folks i roll with happily answer questions about their own work and how they did some things so long as a huge long tutorial isn't the expected response.

If you seem to actually like the work and ask, though, it shouldn't be harmful. Sometimes ppl never respond but that just means they are busy and not angry. I, personally, love when folks are invested in things I worked on. I
