Each record is a unique event with all the usual features (when, where, who, about what), plus detailed info on crowd size where available and interactions between protesters and police or protesters and counter-protesters where relevant.

Since 2022, we've also been capturing verbatim protester claims from posters, banners, chants, and the like. Now a large and growing corpus of protest rhetoric across dozens of issues and themese that is, to my knowledge, unique in the field.
